I was a bit nervous about making the switch, but since I could no longer buy the same pillow I was using before, I thought I'd give this pillow a try. Now, I'm very glad that I did.
My old pillow was very firm, but had almost no padding. In contrast, this pillow has a firm core, which gives me the support I want, but has the added bonus of a soft and comfortable outer layer that gives the pillow a luxurious feel. Due to this soft outer layer, the pillow is considerably thicker than my old pillow (nearly double the thickness), and it took a night or two to get used to it, but now I love it. When I combine the luxurious comfort with the affordable price I paid, this pillow is tough to beat. I'd highly recommend buying it!

I had been using one of the contured memory foam pillows at his suggestion, but kept having neck pain because there was not enough loft to the pillow to keep my neck aligned properly. I researched the best pillow for side sleepers and kept seeing this design, but this is by far the best price! I was worried about some reviews of the convoluted foam and odor, but I went ahead and purchased this pillow. I do not notice an odor at all. The first morning after sleeping on it, my neck was sore and I was thinking I'd made the wrong buying decision. However, I'm so glad I continued with it. I think the first night soreness was caused by finally having the proper support! I've slept much better and have no neck pain at all any more! I'm getting another one since I've convinced my husband he needs one to.
